I finished these two books during NaNoWriMo and submitted them mid-November. In Mercy you'll meet 12-year-old Mercy Maloney whose mother abandons her to live on the streets. But this only serves to prepare her for the journey she then makes with Laman and Aedan. Due out April 2012.
In Magaelbash you'll continue the journey with Laman, Aedan, Mercy and the Burrowing Elf Thorismund as they discover the extent evil will go to in order to get what it wants. Due out June 2012.

Book 3 LAMAN Contracted by MuseItUp Publishing
I've received a contract for the 30,500 word MS of LAMAN from MuseItUp Publishing who has the other books in the series.
14-year-old Laman leaves his house after another argument with his mom only to discover the next morning he's been struck by lightning and transported to a distant planet. Written as a prequel or Book 1 of the series, meet Jeremiah Holyfield the holy member of the Conscientia sent to live on Dracwald and protect the Prophecy. Unfortunately Narciss has discovered he has it. Can Jeremiah protect it despite constant attacks by dragons? Book due out November 1, 2011.
CONTRACT AWARDED FOR ZARENA BOOK 2. Due out July 1, 2011 Zarena is the second book of the series. It will be made available by MuseItUp Publishing first as an eBook then later in print.

What's It All About?
I think I have a revolutionary concept brewing here. I am half-way through writing a Young Adult Dark Fantasy series called The Seraphym Wars Series. It occurred to me that middle grade readers would enjoy the story as well, but might not appreciate the graphic horror or love story.
So I began writing a Middle Grade version of the same story concept. I called it The Stardust Warriors Series in order to differentiate it from the Seraphym Wars series. I'm happy with the way it's turning out. The books range from 20,000 to 30,000 words each. Instead of the four volumes in the YA version, this series will have as many as ten or more. I've changed the character names and ages as well as place names so the story has its own feel and isn't just a rewrite of the YA version. However, some of the monsters and adventures are duplicated.
